These are some of our near future goals that we will be focusing on, starting in South Yorkshire UK
Provide free food for all people in a local area. We will collaborate with local farmers and propose for them to lend us some land as a charitable contribution, on which we will grow produce with the help of local volunteers. The produce will go to a GreenHorizon local volunteer run community kitchen which will provide free meals to anyone, though the homeless and vulnerable people will be given first priority
Instruct and educate volunteers about permaculture farming and gardening, then getting them started on a plot of land we will hopefully have acquired by then
Volunteers giving talks and spreading awareness of our mission across the country and world
Start protecting and deradicalising young people who have been manipulated by the alt right and other extremist groups
Host pop up events, like concerts, cafes and workshops to spread awareness and fundraise
Acquire land to start our first pilot village community
Work with local universities in doing studies of the health and quality of life difference between the current societal lifestyle and the GreenHorizon lifestyle
Develop our own myco bricks and test them out for construction use, including for freestanding homeless shelters
